Who provides this service

nameready.dev is operated by Lyalpha GmbH, Düsseldorf, Germany. Company and contact details are in the imprint. Using this site means you accept these terms.

What the service is

NameReady checks whether a name can be registered across a fixed set of 24 extensions. You type a name, we show which extensions are already registered and which can be registered, and a register link takes you to a registrar. It is free, and there is no account to create.

What a result means

Each result is a snapshot from the moment we checked.

• taken: the domain is registered, or the registry has reserved it.
• register: the domain could be registered when we checked.
• premium: it could be registered, at a higher price than a standard domain.
• checking or not checked: we have not confirmed it.

Anyone can register a domain at any moment, so a result can change right after you see it. We make no promise that a domain shown as available can still be registered, or at what price. Confirm at the registrar before you pay; the price is shown there.

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell or transfer a domain. Any decision you make on the basis of a result is your own.

Fair use

Checking is free for people. Do not run automated or bulk queries, and do not work around the limits that keep the service available for everyone. If you do, we may limit or block your access.

Links to registrars and other sites

Register links are affiliate links, and the site says so. If you buy through one, we may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you. We do not control the sites we link to and are not responsible for their content, their offers, or how they handle your data.

Availability

The service is provided as it is, without a promise of uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where liability follows from the German Product Liability Act.

For simple negligence we are liable only where an obligation has been breached whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the agreement possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely. In that case liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of agreement. Any further liability is excluded.

Governing law

German law applies. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection you have under the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live. If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Düsseldorf. If you are a consumer, the statutory places of jurisdiction remain unaffected.

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
